I am terrified of Tornado. I just read in Backyard Poultry, some bonehead's advice on roosters was to "just pick them up and carry them while you're collecting eggs and filling feeders and such so that your behavior isn't threatening to them. You won't pose a threat because you're acting not like a chicken." Uh - how the h*ll am I supposed to just walk up and pick him up when he wants to kill me? I think the lady who wrote that bad advice must have bantam roosters or something, not toddler size roosters. He's huge. And his talons are huge.
